A Message from the President
The creation of a scientific association dedicated to the development of applied mathematics in various fields — particularly in industry — has long been the aspiration of Algerian mathematical researchers. This project became a reality thanks to the determination of a small group of mathematicians. The process began with the organization of the founding assembly in February 2023 at the National Higher School of Mathematics, which led to the election of a National Executive Office to manage the association. The next step, obtaining official accreditation, was an extremely challenging task. However, on November 23, 2023, we proudly obtained our accreditation.
The main objectives of our association are:
• To contribute to the development of applied mathematics in Algeria in the fields of scientific research and education.
• To build bridges of communication, cooperation, and exchange with various economic and industrial partners in areas related to applied mathematics.
• To promote technological development in Algeria through the application of mathematics across all fields.
The Society is open to all Algerian permanent teacher-researchers or researchers in the field of applied mathematics, whether residing in Algeria or abroad, as well as to any professional whose work involves the application of mathematics in economic or industrial sectors. Our association seeks to collaborate with all individuals and institutions sharing our vision, in order to achieve these goals.
